Surfside Volvo B10ML
This bus is certainly not all that it seems. 643 (643PMG) is one of three former Japanese Volvo B10MLs bought for the Tokyo Expo in 1985. Most of the 100 machines ended up in Australia after the event. Surfside's trio however have lost the rear sections of their Fuji bodies and now masquerade as 53 dual door rigids.

646 (646PNK) is another of the trio which has also had some less drastic treatment at the front end.

The third member, 648 (648PNK), has slightly different frontal treatment. It is seen towards the end of the line of school buses next to a main fleet Bustech, an ex Coomera Volvo still in Coomera colours and an ex STA Mercedes.

A closer look at the Coomera Volvo B58-61 which dates from 1979. 571 (214CTA) has PMC 49 seat bus bodywork.

Surfside Mercedes O.305 PMC
624 (624DAE) is another ex Sydney Transport Authority Mercedes O.305 with PMC dual door bodywork. This was STA 2074 and has been withdrawn since this picture was taken at Ernest depot in August 2004.
