425BVW Former OK Motors DAF/Duple 320 425BVW arrives in Newcastle on an express working, probably from OK's home town of Bishop Auckland. It is seen bearing simple Go-Northern fleetnames.

Dx03EAJ Lacking a cherished registration, another of OK's DAF/Duples is seen on layover at the Haymarket in Newcastle, accompanied by a Dash bodied Volvo B6 and another DAF, this time a Northern Counties bodied singledecker of Arriva Northumbria.

OK Dash B6 Another Dash/B6, but this time in OK colours, is also seen on layover at the Haymarket.

Low Fell Coaches Volvo B10B Alexander Strider
When the Tyne and Wear Metro started operation, all bus services crossing the Tyne were withdrawn under the then PTE's aegis to effectively force passengers on to the Metro. Low Fell Coaches, based on the south bank of the river responded to the local community and after some opposition in the traffic courts introduced a cross Tyne service over the famous Gateshead Bridge. In subsequent years the operation was bought by the privatised Go-Ahead group. 4812 (L212KEF) is an unusual bus, a Volvo B10B-58 with Alexander Strider bodywork. The bus was new to OK Motor Services in 1989 and taken over by the Go Ahead group in 1995. It is seen in this picture with Low Fell in 1999.
Cross Tyne Service
OK AEC Reliance
A truly splendid vehicle put in an appearance at the 2003 Cobham rally. It is a former OK AEC Reliance with early Plaxton coachwork, predating the Panorama range. It is seen alongside an equally splendid AEC of Maidstone & District.
