Summercourt Travel Mercedes O814D Frank Guy 31, O810D Plaxton P536PNE, O814D Plaxton W997JNF and unknown Plaxton
The fleet was - a bit like Western Greyhound dominated by Mercedes minibuses. From left to right: 31 (RIL4529) an O814D bodied by Frank Guy and new to Derbyshire County Council as NZ41 (S251SWF) as a fourteen seater with tail lift; next up is Plaxton Beaver 2 bodied O810D P536PNE ex Stagecoach Manchester 536; then we have W997JNF another Beaver 2 body, but on an O814D chassis new to Curness Travel of Blantyre. The fourth Mercedes is unidentifiable.

Summercourt Travel Leyland Olympian ECW B913NBF
Some miles from its original home with Midland Red North is former 1913 (B913NBF) a standard ECW bodied Leyland Olympian. Whilst the livery is a passable imitation of that used by Arriva the Shires it was also at Summercourt's depot near Newquay in June 2005.

Summercourt Travel Bristol VRTSL3 ECW UWV617S
Former Southdown convertible open top 617 (UWV617S) is seen with Summercourt Travel in Newquay in June 2005. After fifteen years service with Southdown and its Stagecoach successors, 617 was transferred within the group to Fife Scottish as 1107, where it spent seven years on the St Andrews tour, but with its roof refitted. It then had a checkered history with Chepstow Classic Buses, being loaned to Nostalgiabus, Mitcham and loaned Roulston (Glasgow Corporation Transport) for Glasgow city tours in Glasgow Corporation orange and green. It had two years with Summercourt, passing in January 2006 to the Routemaster Heritage Society, London and on to the 617 Preservation Group restored to Southdown livery.

Summercourt AEC Park Royal Routemaster RML2384
Next to an unidentified blue and cannibalised Bristol VR us former Metroline RML2384 (JJD384D) its fleet insignia matching that on the Southdown VR, suggesting it might be used on the Sightseeing Tour during inclement weather.

Southend Leyland Titan East Lancs 347
Southend Leyland Titan PD3/4, 347 (MHJ347F), with its East Lancs rear entrance body was found in Western Greyhound/Summercourt Travel depot that day. Apparently it was awaiting restoration having left Southend to be driver trainer 911 with Plymouth Citybus in their red livery.
