 Sydney Buses inherited several non-standard vehicles like this Custom bodied Mercedes from North & Western, 3533 (MO687). The North & Western red band has been repainted yellow, which has "qualified" it to provide the service on the hourly Parramatta Explorer. Parramatta is a suburb of Sydney and is the oldest settlement in Australia, after Sydney itself. |
 By the end of 2003, ex North & Western Mercedes O405/Custom 3530(MO5921) had gained full Sydney Buses livery, but rather "after thought" stickers for the Parramatta Explorer service. It is seen at the bus stop by the Rivercat terminal, which is the end of the line for the ferry service from Circular Quay. |
