Hamilton Street Railway New Flyer C40LF 9613
The quaintly named Hamilton Street Railway dates back to 1873 and as the name suggests, the majority of its services were provided initially by streetcars. The company stayed in private ownership untl 1960 when it was bought by the city. In recent years the company has operated a mix of CNG powered, but mostly diesel buses. Representing the former in August 2007 is New Flyer C40LF 9613, one of a batch of 25 acquired in 1996. Another 45 C40LF joined the fleet by 2003.
