London Transport Sightseeing BMMO D9 OM5
BMMO D9 5016 (3016HA) entered service from Redditch depot in November 1962, later moving on to Nuneaton and Rugby until withdrawn in late 1974. The bus was one of seven acquired by Prince Marshall's Obsolete Fleet and converted to open top to operate on London Transport's Sightseeing Tour. Renumbered OM5 the D9 served till until June 1981 (oddly the height of the tour season) and later passed to the BaMMOT where it has been preserved in LT livery and occasionally used to promote the Museum.

Midland Red BMMO D10 4943
A "what might have been". In 1961 BMMO built this prototype underfloor engined doubledecker, 4943 (943KHA), the design enabling a rear engine styled front door arrangement. A modified version of BMMO's standard 10.5 litre engine was fitted horizontally to keep a low floor height. It was joined by a second prototype, 4944 (1944HA). Prototype 4943 served from Digdeth depot, but spent most of its life at Stafford until withdrawal in 1971. It is seen, unfortunately nose in, at the Wythall BaMMoT Museum in July 2013. It was not until 1978 that Volvo introduced a production underfloor engined doubledecker, the Citybus.

Midland Red Guy Arab II Weymann 2574

BaMMoT collection
In the June 2013 visit to BaMMoT's collection at the Wythall found Birmingham Crossley bodied Daimler CVG 3225 (MOF225) leading a mixed line up of mostly West Midlands buses. The Park Royal bodied Daimler Fleetline in Birmingham livery, believed to be 3913 (SOE913H) was new to West Midlands PTE but BMMO Leyland LD8 4031 is seen sandwiched between a pair of Bristols, Red & White MW6G U765 (DAX610C) and Midland General VRTSL6G 322 (FRB211H).
