In the distinctive cream and black dual purpose livery of the Mansfield District and Midland General fleets, this ECW bodied RELL6G is seen at the 1998 Weston-super-Mare rally. Both companies also enjoyed individual distinctive bus liveries, for Tilling fleets, and shared the dual purpose livery, with vehicles carrying both fleetnames. This however is a dual door bus seated Bristol RELL6G, 148 (NNU447J).

RELL 147 was seen again in July 2017 at Wythall Bus Museum alongside Birmingham City Transport MCW bodied Guy Arab IV 3090 (MOF90). Early Midland General VR 322 is just visible off to the right..

Dual door East Midland Leyland National S567 (XRR567M) is seen with Midland General's ECW bodied RELL6G 157 (ORB254K), which is also dual door, both are in Chesterfield Bus Station. Initially Midland General was able to use NBC house style with a blue livery, but this was stopped in favour of the green or red. Midland General coming under control of former BET group company, Trent, went with their use of red.
