Carousel Metrobus M756
Carousel Metrobus M756 (KYV756X) is seen here on route 400 in High Wycombe. The initial Carousel fleet was largely made up of Metrobuses in LT red and a fleetname logo based on that of the former London Country, variously described as a polo mint or bats wing motif! Across the road vehicles await students from the Marlow Hill schools: a Heyfordian Bova Europa waits with two more Carousel Metrobuses.

Carousel Buses MCW Metrobus M283
Carousel Metrobus M283 (BYX283V) is manfully climbing Marlow Hill out of High Wycombe on the circuitous route to Marlow via Bourne End. The 400 route was originally operated by Arriva the Shires and linked the Flackwell Heath college site with Wycombe Town Centre at keys times during the day to suit the college. Carousel took over the contract and extended the route through Flackwell Heath and on to Bourne End and then back to Marlow.

Near identical M524 (GYE524W) followed M283 up the hill shortly after catering for the peak morning flows to the college site, hence the short working to Flackwell Heath.

Carousel MCW Metrobus
With upper blinds already set for the 400, an unidentified Metrobus lurches round the Handy Cross roundabout, ready to deposit students at the adjacent grammar schools. The lower blind indicated the 900 series Bucks school service it is on.

Carousel MCW Metrobus M1386
Whilst the collapse of a tunnel structure supporting a new Tesco store being built over the Chiltern Trains rail line at Gerrards Cross was a major disaster, it was bonanza for Carousel. Former London M1386 pulls into Wycombe Station on one of the many journeys required. Carousel co-ordinated several operators involved in the extended operation in 2005.
