 In addition to new Scanias, Network Colchester was not adverse to the occasional secondhand purchase, presumably at the right price. This former Metrobus East Lancs Lolyne bodied Dennis Trident - where it was 406 (T406SMV) - joined the fleet as 156 not long before it was seen on display at North Weald in 2009. |

 Another Trident on display in 2009 was Alexander ALX400 bodied 196 (W396RBB), seen at Duxford for SHOWBUS, which had transfered from Arriva Northumbria where it had been 7431. |

 Representing 1989 in Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee tribute at SHOWBUS 2012 was former Network Colchester 240 (F640LMJ). The lowheight Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian had been new to Luton & District as 640. It was about to be transformed by Panther Travel. |

 Yes it is the same bus, Panther Travel's dramatic livery has turned F640LMJ into the striking BIG7758 seen arriving at the Imperial War Museum for SHOWBUS 2014.
