 Despite an unfortunate experience with the ethanol powered Scania Omnicities, Reading Buses embraced gas power in 2013 with a batch of twenty Scania K270UB gas powered models. The bodies were Alexander Dennis Enviro300 with the roof mounted pod designed by Ray Stenning of Best Impressions to blend with the bodystyle. The first eleven (401-411) were in "greenwave" livery for the Madjeski Stadium Business Park/Park & Ride service, this is the second, 402 (YR13PLO), seen when only three months old. |
