 The livery on the Spectra was more imaginative than on the Olympian as this earlier in the day view at North Weald shows. The bus had been re-registered L959WGK on leaving Reading and after Westbus it moved on to SHOWBUS regular, Talisman Coaches in Essex.

 Former Reading Optare Spectra 708 (S876BYJ) is seen with Birmingham based "theGreenbus" as their 201 arriving at SHOWBUS 2014. Reading and Greenbus had staged a joint Berkshire operation earlier using ex Reading buses. This Spectra was one of those new to Eastbourne as their 76, and swapped with Reading for ex Cardiff Optare Excels.

 Seen at Dorney Lake for the 2012 Olympic rowing events was Scania 1109 (YN08MME) seen with Green Bus Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident 104 (PO51WNL) which was new to Pete's Travel in Birmingham, but saw later service with Reading Buses as their 475. |
