Plenty of variety can be found in the Red Rose fleet, including this ex Stagecoach London Optare
StarRider, seen here in the yard, freshly overhauled (including new seating) prior to certification.
The buses used to be used on routes through the Rotherhithe Tunnel and had arrived in an orange livery.

One of a pair of Metroriders acquired from
Westlink and still in LT livery - though this version is not too out of place with Red Rose's colours. |

The third MCW Metrorider in the fleet was acquired
earlier from Cardiff Bus where it was their 160 (F160AWO). Whilst the others continue in Westlink
livery, Red Rose 196 has been painted in fleet colours. 196 is seen here in Dunstable town centre
on the Saturday (and Wednesday) 52 service linking parts of Dunstable and Houghton Regis with
the local Sainsbury superstore. |
