Safeguard Dennis Dart
Seen at the 2001 Cobham rally was this ex London Dennis Dart which had been given a facelift by a southern dealer. The "new" bus did not enjoy the low floor access but a Plaxton Pointer front replaced its original Carlyle front.
 
Safeguard Optare Excel Low floor access came in the shape of Optare Excel X307CBT, seen here at the 2002 Southsea Rally.
 
Safeguard Optare Excel
X307CBT put in an appearance at Duxford later that year.
 
Safeguard Optare Excel
The Excel also appeared at Cobham the following April.
