The former RW class Centrewest vehicles which helped to oust unreliable and ancient London Country and Alder Valley Leyland Nationals from the Slough BeeLine operation have not been without their critics. Renault RW20 is seen in company with the vehicles which followed into BeeLine from Centrewest which in turn ousted the Renaults - see below.
BeeLine DW78 (JDZ2378) is a Wright Handybus bodied Dennis Dart, one of many which replaced the MA class Mercedes minibuses on Gold Arrow routes 28 and 31. It is one of a number of DW class vehicles transferred to Slough and repainted in BeeLine's striking colours, which did much to enhance their rather old fashioned look.
BeeLine DP32 (N832FLW) is one of many DP class Plaxton Pointer bodied Darts which helped the RW oustings in Slough. As with the DW class, some vehicles retained their LT-style class designation letters, but some did not.

A string of Darts off load outside Slough Bus Station. Presumably it is preferable to the gloom inside and gives passengers a glimpse of their goal - the shopping centre, the other side of a fast dual carriageway! So fast in fact that a number of near misses was witnessed as buses pulled out to later venture inside the Bus Station.
