 Bedlington & District in the North East were very keen AEC operators and acquired models secondhand from a variety of sources including this Harrington bodied Reliance 4U3RA, ex Barton 986 (986VRR) with an unidentified Northern Counties bodied AEC Regent V.

 Two active Barton Reliances, Harrington bodied 937 (129GAL) and Plaxton bodied 868 (868HAL).

We were sent this picture of the preserved Barton charabanc in the year it almost made it to SHOWBUS. |

 The chara did make it to Woburn Abbey and is seen here alongside Dodds AEC Regent from Scotland.

 Arriving at SHOWBUS 2010 is a preserved classic in the shape of Northern Counties lowbridge bodied AEC Regent V 784 (XAL784).
