 The unusual Plaxton Verde bodied Dennis Lances bought by Thames Transit passed into the Stagecoach Oxford fleet and this one is seen in the new livery departing from Gloucester Green in lovely sunshine over the 2003 New Year break. Sadly the batch of Lances was transferred to Carlisle and withdrawn after the 2005 flood damage in Cumbria.

More standard Stagecoach fair is caught on this Alexander PS bodied Volvo B10M seen at the Carfax on the same day as the Verde.

 Volvo B10M 20915 (R915XVM) is seen in Gloucester Green Bus Station in May 2008. The Alewxander PS bodied bus is about to head off on the long distance X5 to Cambridge. The Stagecoach standard bus was new to Stagecoach Manchester. TYhe X5 service was given the Stagecoach treatment and the old B10M buses were replaced by wifi equipped Plaxton bodied coaches on an enhanced frequency,
