EFE SHOWBUS International Rally 2008 will feature many attractions.

Showbus 2008 Bristol Gold Run.
Participating vehicles will gather at Trumpington Park & Ride and travel via Shelford, Stapleford and Sawston to arrive at the Imperial War Museum at around 11.45am. The cavalcade will parade through the site to assemble in the centre of the site.

Duxford site opens for entrants at 8.00 am.on Sunday September 28th.

EFE Models.
EFE will be releasing two special models associated with the rally. One will be DM2577 in London livery and released before the event and feature adverts for EFE SHOWBUS International 2008 the other is of the new London RT casting in LT livery.

First.
Once again there will be a special First display, and they will be providing the prize money for the winners in most classes of entry. First will be handing out some goodies from their York park & Ride vehicles.

Dutch visitor.
Bus & Car General Motors Eagle
The unique American-Belgian-Dutch Bus & Car General Motors Eagle is making a return visit from the NZH Vervoer Museum.

ON SITE BUS
With the rally spreading from one end of the mammoth Duxford site to the other, there will be a free low floor shuttle bus running the length of the site between 11.00am and 4.15pm. Some doubledeckers will supplement the service to afford grandstand views of the display.

Bus service from Cambridge
Stagecoach Citi7 will provides a service from Cambridge Stations to Duxford. This will be supplemented by extra journeys in the morning and a 5.30pm return late journey, click here for the times.

THE BUS STATION.
This will be the area immediately in front of Rally Control, by the American Air Museum. The Bus Station will be for vehicles coming and going on the Duxford Village Tours throughout the afternoon. The 2008 timetable will appear when it is finalised.

Site layout.
The entry arrangements for 2008 will be similar to 2007. Buses heading for the eastern arena will travel the length of the airfield taxiway to get there and buses parking near the American Air Museum will use an entry gate further in to the site tbeyond the pay booths. Parking Reception in the Motts coach will be before the Pay booth queue. See the site map.

How much?.
£16 for adults, £12.80 for senior citizens, £8 for other concessions and FREE for under 16s. Group rates are available from the Museum. Further information is on their website. In 2008 every bus entered will be entitled to three free entry permits, plus the driver.
