Two Yellow Buses
The local authority buses in Auckland traded as The Yellow Bus Company. Here two singledeckers, thought to be a Mercedes followed by an MAN, arrive at a beach terminus in August 1992.

Yellow Bus MAN SG220 Hawke 2002
You do not always need two buses when one articulated bus will do the same job, like Hawke bodied MAN SG220 2002 (LA5936) seen in the CBD on the same visit.

Yellow Bus Volvo B10M Coachwork International 1300
Of special interest is Volvo B10M 1300 (MF7516) - and its sister vehicle 1299 (MF7517) - their Coachwork International bodied feature the German VoV design. Licensing difficulties around fitting the design to a Swedish machine resulted in the remaining 88 bodies ordered being fitted to MAN chassis.

Yellow Bus MAN SG220 Hawke 2008
This view of 2008 (LC7018) shows just how long the MAN SG220 bendibuses are. Unfortunately this bus was written off with accident damage in 2011, and undignified end to a 28 year life.

Yellow Bus Company MAN SL202 Coachwork International
Seen in Auckland Bus Station in August 1992 is a number of Coachwork International bodied MAN SL202 buses, a few Mercedes and a glimpse of a Cityline Hino.
