Cobb & Co is a part of Australian history. It was the Wells Fargo of Australia, established in Melbourne in 1853 the company pioneered horse drawn long distance coach servces initially using American built coaches and even American coach drivers used to driving the stagecoaches across the prairies of the wild west. Now part of the Dyson group of company the institutional name lives on, mainly on the fleet of touring coaches, the express ervice mantle having ended up with Greyhound Australia.
