 Back in April 2004, Northern was operating this ten year old Volgren bodied Volvo B10B. Fleet number 20 (0965AO) is seen in Moonee Ponds. |
 Next purchases in 1996 favoured Mercedes and their O405NH model, though 26 (0971AO) was also bodied by Volgren. The small fleet had purchased Ansair bodied Scanias in 1992. This bus became 422 with Dysons, later passing to Buses-R-Us in Tasmania with rego XT20AI. |
 Seen in 2002, 32 (0990AO) had joined the fleet the previous years, one of four such Volgren CR221 bodied Mercedes O405NH bought in 2001, they brought the total of O405s in the fleet to eleven. |
 Mercedes 26 is seen again in winter 2008 about the time the firm was acquired by Dysons. The Northern fleet totalled around forty buses and coaches. The coach fleet numbered around ten and used the fleetname Roadrunner. Since photographed in 2004, 26 has had its bumpers painted green, no doubt to match the rest of the Dyson fleet in which it became 422. |
