Veolia MAN 16.290 Ansair 614
This 1992 Ansair bodied MAN 16.290 was one of several acquired by National Bus in Queensland from the Royal Australian Air Force. When National Express disposed of its Australian operations the Queensland business passed to Connex, becoming Veolia and eventually Transdev, though many buses are now Translink branded. What next? This is 614 (916EWN) seen returning from a school run in August 2009.

Sister vehicle 615 (917EWN) seen at the same time. Both buses carry the Bosnjak canary yellow livery applied across the former family's operations in Brisbane and Sydney and adopted for its Melbourne National Bus franchised operations too.

Seen leaving the Capalaba depot in north Brisbane for a morning school run that same day is 1993 MCA integral 636 (405JUX).
 
Veolia Volvo B10M MCA 611
MCA bodied this Volvo B10M in 1990. The 53 seat coach, 611 (577EKK), is in the later all yellow livery as it leaves Capalaba. Acquired from Bayside Bus Lines in Capalaba, it was new to Bramble Bay Coaches in Deagon.
 
Veolia Volvo B7RLE Custom CB60 300
Another all yellow Volvo was this B7RLE with Custom CB60 body, 300 (101GUQ), the first of a batch of eight acquired new in 2002. It was seen earlier in the day oworking the 240.
