The advertising slogan, continued exclusively on the rear too, does at least blend with letting the air pour in on the top deck.

One day in summer 2004 four fully loaded National liveried Western Welsh liveried Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied Leyland Leopards rolled on to the forecourt of Alder Valley's Maidenhead depot. They were taking advantage of the refuelling available from a fellow NBC fleet. One by one the coaches swung round inside the depot and replenished their thirst. Quite what former Eastern National 4228 (VXV27) was doing at the depot at the time is unclear - it had been sold to Anderson in Iver for use as a dining bus, doubtless linked to nearby Pinewood Studios. Alongside is Western Welsh Leopard 180 (SKG180H).

From the archives of our 35mm slides came this picture of an ex Eastern National Bristol FLF Lodekka with a new owner. Taken sometime in the late seventies/early eighties the context has been lost. If you recognise the bus please let us know.
