Thames Valley Bristol SC4LK
Even more of a contrast is S303 (NBL733) a Bristol SC4LK, one of four at Maidenhead for the 18 service to Marlow which crossed the frail Marlow suspension bridge. A variety of buses has been used on the service, but even a Transit minibus would be barred these days! The bus was originally numbered 776.

Thames Valley Bristol SUS4A
Southern National 613 (669COD) was one of a pair of Bristol SUS4As acquired in 1970, together with three similar machines from Bristol Omnibus. This is Thames Valley 197 on route to Cookham, but the main reason for the acquisition was to replace the lightweight SC4LKs with a bus capable of getting over Marlow Bridge without it collapsing under the weight.
