 Big Bus caused a tremendous stir by ordering Chinese built doubledeck open top buses for use in London. Despite earlier deliveries of Optare bodied Volvos and the availability of open top Alexander Dennis Enviro500s the unknown (in the UK) Chinese firm delivered twenty Anhui Ankai HFF6110GS-2 for use in the British Capital. Here AN342 (LJ12JVZ) waits at Speakers Corner, an established pick up point, near Marble Arch in July 2012. The company bought similar machines for use in its operations in Hong Kong as has Ensignbus for its Sydney City Sightseeing operation. |
