Once part of London Country, County became a London component of Arriva, trading as Arriva serving East Herts & Essex and administered by Arriva serving the Shires, based at Luton. Both companies moved on to using Arriva serving the Shires & Essex as a trading name, or, more simply, Arriva.

New to County Bus & Coach as DP301 (J301WHJ), this original Plaxton bodied step entrance Dart is leaving Wycombe's new Bus Station in February 2007 for Marlow on Carousel Line 2. |

A reversion of Green Line style, perhaps? Back to the bus oriented RF and National era, following a generation or two of coach bodied Leyland Tigers and Volvos. Arriva subsidiary County chose low-floor DAFs with new Plaxton (Northern Counties designed) Prestige bodies, ample luggage space and comfort seating for the arduous North London orbital service 724 to Heathrow, where PDL206 (R206VPU) is seen. |

A sister vehicle from the same batch is seen at Watford Junction Station one Saturday before Christmas 1998. The DAFs were replaced by Mercedes Citaro buses in 2006.
