355 (S355MFP) is promoting the 'Red Line'. The bus is a Scania L113CRL with Wright Axcess-ultralow
40 seat bodywork, delivered new to First Leicester in 1998.

Optare Excels are quite rare withing the First Group and Leicester was chosen to receive a batch
of 10. They were delievered in GRT advance colours using the brighter red. Unusually the batch,
inluding 302 (R2LCB) here, were repainted and were amongst the first vehicles in First's new
corporate livery. The batch also enjoyed special registrations: R1-10LCB.
