Acquired from Metrobus of Orpington is S848DGX, a Volvo Olympian/East Lancs, ousted from London service by the influx of low floor deckers. The bus is seen in Colchester in August 2006.
Chambers MAN 11.120 Marshall S48RGA
New to Dart of Paisley, this locally built Marshall body was built on a MAN 11.220 chassis, a relatively rare model in the UK. The bus, S48RGA, is seen in Colchester in August 2006.
White Bus Services Bedford YMT Duple Dominant C668WRT
Former Chambers Bedford/Dominant C668WRT in use on a service to Windsor Great Park on the occasion of the Slough Running Day in May 2006. The back end of First's silver Routemaster, RM1650 (650DYE), is visible too as both buses depart Slough Bus Station. The White Bus services Bedford YMT was used on school work with Chambers in Suffolk with an amazing 63 seat capacity using 3+2 seating in its Duple body.
Chambers Optare Solo 962
In 2012 Chambers was acquired by Go-Ahead, its fleet was moved to Hedingham's depot which had also been acquired by Go-Ahead that year. The Chambers identity was retained and a revised livery adopted, as seen on Optare Solo 962 (MX58XDB) arriving for SHOWBUS international 2014 at Duxford.
