Gt Yarmouth Daimler CVG6 Roe 12 & Leyland Atlantean Marshall 40
A final few pictures from around 1977 scanned from colour slides at the time. This one depicts 1961 front entrance Roe bodied Daimler CVG6 12 (FEX112) alongside the now preserved singledeck Atlantean 40, sadly portraying the unimaginative rear end design given to the trio. Bearing in mind that Marshall produced the attractive Camair body, this was not their finest achievement.

Great Yarmouth Daimler CVG6 Roe 10 & AEC Reliance Pennine
One of the Pennine bodied AEC Reliances is seen in this depot shot alongside another of the same batch of 1961 Daimler CVG6 buses. This one, 10 (FEX110) had received a gold and silver embellished livery to mark Her Majesty's Silver Jubilee. A Union Jack motif adorns the bonnet.

Great Yarmouth Bristol VRTSL3 ECW & 35 AEC Swift ECW 88
What must have been new that year is, on the left, ECW bodied Bristol VRTSL3 35 (RVF35R), one of a batch of eight that year. Alongside is 88 (WEX688M) one of twelve ECW bodied AEC Swifts, sadly it had been preceded by 21 Willowbrook bodied examples - reliability was not the Swifts strong point, a shame the ECW bodied examples could not have been on the trusty Bristol RELL chassis.

Great Yarmouth Bristol VRTSL3 ECW
Not the best picture as sun falls, but at least this 1977 VR is seen in service.
