Abus Optare Spectra YG02FWB
Former Reading Buses Optare Spectra 738 (YG02FWB) was chosen by Abus of Bristol to celebrate its Silver Jubilee in 2016. It is seen at the end of July that year at the Bristol Bus Rally at Brislington alongside their ECW bodied Bristol RELL6L, former Bristol Omnibus 1332 (OAE954M). The Spectra had been acquired from Stagecoach Norfolk Green where it had been numbered 13984, and simply 4 before that.

Optare Solos at SHOWBUS 2001
A trio of Optare Solos at SHOWBUS 2001. The Imperial War Museum had yet to realise the full potential of SHOWBUS and confined us to the field by the Land Warfare Museum, but we were able to use the adjacent field, their overflow car park, for some exhibits. With its uneven ground we stuck to the smaller buses! We start with Norfolk Green's 601 (Y54HBT), then Richmond's X938NUB and on the end Buckinghamshire County Council's Y48HBT. There were four other Solos entered elsewhere in the display that year.
