Stagecoach Auckland Mercedes O305 NZMB 1550
Amongst the oldest vehicles operating in April 2005 was NZMB bodied Mercedes O305 1550 (JA2162) which probably thought it would not last to see the new Bus Station. It was pushing thirty in 2005, but was withdrawn before reaching that venerable age.

Stagecoach Auckland MAN SL200 Hawke 1601
A mere 24 years old, Hawke bodied MAN SL200, 1601 (KI6723), the first of a batch of 61, had been relegated to driver training duties in April 2005 and is seen heading out of the city. It subsequently passed to the Party Bus Co and was later scrapped.
 
 
 
Stagecoach Auckland MAN SL200 Hawke 1640
With a more conventional MAN front on its Hawke body is 1640 (KD3568). The batch was delivered over three years and this is a later model. Since withdrawn, the photo was taken in leafy Ponsonby in April 2005.
