More and more ALX400 Tridents joined the Connex fleet as its London contracted services expanded. Here TA85 (KV02URZ) is seen on the 344 near Liverpool Street Station. The traditional London phonebox alongside is in non traditional black! The bus sports the then new Connex worldwide logo.

In common with many London fleets, Connex had some buses painted in gold livery to commemorate Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee. TA5 (V305KGW) is seen on the original Connex route 3 in Regent Street.
