Dennis Dart Airbus DT26 (G526VYE)
An unusual role was found for some of the early Carlyle/Duple bodied small Dennis Darts. Airbus Direct gave personal service to individual central London hotels. Two are seen here (DT26 nearest the camera) depositing passengers at Heathrow's Terminal 3.

Dennis Dart Duple Dartline DT1
DT1 entered London Buses service from Fulweel depot in April 1990. On privatisation the bus passed to London United and a year later in 1995 went to Eastleigh to be fitted with coach seats, luggage racks and air conditioning and repainted for Airbus Direct. The bus was bought by Connex Bus in 2000 and bought by Media Bus of Romford in 2002, making frequent TV appearances in "Single" amd "Waking the Dead". This photo dates from 2001. In 2009 DT1 was working for Travel with Hunny.

DT1 appeared in Spetember 2009 at SHOWBUS, representing 1990 in the 60 years of BUSES display in full Airbus livery.

Metroline Dennis Dart H424MOB
Former Metroline DT24 (H424MOB) is seen here on the C10 on hire to the Limebourne team who rescued the LRT bus contract business when Len Wright's companies went into liquidation. Unfortunately the relatively new Plaxton bodied Dart SLFs used on Limebourne's routes were repossessed.

Limebourne Dennis Dart
One of London's earlier Carlyle bodied Dennis Darts acquired by Limebourne when they took the C10 route over. It is seen at Victoria alongside a Plaxton bodied Dennis Javelin on National Express route 403.
