 Stagecoach surprised everyone announcing an order for tri-axle Volvo B12MTs with 65 seat Plaxton Panther bodies for the Megabus network. Plaxton developed the body for the extra long chassis and this example was proudly displayed on the forecourt at Scarborough on the occasion of the Plaxton centenary celebration in April 2007.

 Newly delivered to Rugby depot in September 2009 was Volvo B12BT 54059 (KX59DLN). The Megabus was given a prime spot when it appeared at the SHOWBUS event that year. |
 The crew were happy to demonstrate the wheelchair lift facility. |
