Megabus started in the UK in 2003 using ex Hong Kong Alexander bodied Leyland Olympians on the London - Oxford service. The service was in response to the threat by the Easy empire to start an Easybus route between London and Oxford and there was possible revenue abstractions from Stagecoach's long established Oxford Tube service. 13601 is seen in Oxford in October 2003.

Seen at the Headington roundabout in June tow years later, 13601 had a new digital blind replacing its original fixed display.

Loading at the Green Line stop in Gloucester Place, Marylebone in October 2003, 13601 is leaving its London terminus for Oxford. The bus was Hong Kong Citybus 135 and in common with the other Olympians allocated to Oxford was named after one of the colleges - in this case Keble.
