SHOWBUS 2008 saw two Alexander bodied Leyland Olympians not new to United Counties. On the far left is the Megadekka, 14000 (F110XES) from Stagecoach Glasgow. Alongside is 14476 (D376XRS) also from Scotland new as Northern Scottish NLO76. Joining them is Stagecoach South (Southdown)'s Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident 18510 (GX06DXH).

Volvo Olympian 16223 (S753DRP) found a new lease on life in a special school bus livery - topped off with Shefford & District fleetnames.

The Shefford & District school bus was parked next to United Counties former Northern Scottish NLO74 (D374XRS), now 14474. On the right are new Enviros for Cambridge Park & Ride and on the left an Stagecoach oddity - 39612 (YN56OSP) - an MCV bodied MAN 14.220.

To celebrate 85 years since United Counties was formed, Stagecoach painted 16221 (R701DNH) in traditional Tilling green and cream, complete with authentic Bedford coded fleet number plate in pale blue on the dash. The bus was a surprise entry at SHOWBUS international 2006.
