First Eastern National Dennis Dart SLF
First Eastern National 710 (P710HPU) is a native Dennis Dart SLF with the original style of Plaxton Pointer bodywork. It is seen in service in Basildon in Spring 2002 in Barbie 2 colours.

Seen in Chelmsford in 2010 is similar 40738 (P631WSU), but this bus was new as MD24 with Kelvin Central in Scotland. Its livery was once dubbed Barbie 3, when the Barbie 2 scheme was ditched in favour of greater uniformity. The difference being a barely noticeable shorter length of willow leaf on the side.

Taking a break in Chelmsford Bus Station that day was similar 42485 (SN03WMM), a Dart SLF from the TransBus era with the more attractive Pointer 2 body designed by Ogle.

Moving forward this Dart SLF, 42931 (SN05EAO) was built by Alexander Dennis, but was delivered new to First Devon & Cornwall.
