First Midland Red West Volvo D10M Alexander 38126
Doubledeckers were always few are far between in MR West. This example is seen in Stratford-upon-Avon in September 2012. The Alexander bodied Volvo Citybus was new to Northampton Transport as 126 (K126URP) and spent most of its life in that town. It gained a 38 prefix to its fleet number in First's national scheme.

First Midland Red Volvo B7RLE Wright 66986

First Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 32645
Midland Red West shrunk in size over the years, Herefordshire services were abandoned, a large chunk around Droitwich and Kidderminster was sold to Diamond Midlands with Worcester services the only viable part of the operation remaining. So along with First Leicester and First Potteries the remnants of Midland Red West became part of First Midlands. A number of Leicester Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL doubledeckers were transferred to Leicester, displaced by new Streetdecks. Seen in Worcester Bus Station in July 2021 is 32645 (KP54AZJ).

First Worcester Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 32646 & Mercedes Citaro 64046
Not meaning a great deal to the residents of Worcester, another of the batch, 32646 (KP54AZL) was transferred still in Leicester heritage livery with mock fleet number 46. It too was in the Bus Station with Mercedes Citaro 64046 (LK08FMF), which had been new to First Berkshire for Heathrow services.
