Sadly the last bus delivered in the livery of one of Melbourne's smallest bus fleet, East West Bus Company. Delivered in May last year, the most recent deliveries for East West in December are in Victoria's orange PTV livery. They are also branded for the 301 Latrobe University shuttle from Reservoir Station where this photo of Volgren Optimus bodied Scania K280UB 882 ((BS01CH) was taken on Wednesday. The orange ones are on K310UB chassis. East West was a joint operation between Reservoir Bus Co and Dysons and when the latter acquired the former in 2013 it eliminated the Reservoir Bus Co identity, but maintained East West which is probably the closest Melburnians will get to an east - west link after the new Labour state government scrapped the major road project of that name, paying out around a million dollars in cancellation fees for a road that was never built!
