 From 2018 twenty articulated Volvo B8RLEA buses started to enter service. These did not replace older artics but were to increase fleet capacity, another ten were due in 2020. This is Volgren Optimus bodied S1643 (XQ40AI) leaving the underground bus station and about to cross Victoria Bridge, followed by B7RLE C1914 (530XZD) with CR228L body.

 Coming off Victoria Bridge is B8RLEA S1637 (696YDB), whilst B12BLE trixale, in a city wrap, W5043 (350XXE), heads acoss the river.

 Making a sharp left to enter the South East Busway is G1644 (XQ73AI), whilst MAN 18.310 W1427 (216XEE) heads for the Victoria Bridge.
