Phillips Mercedes O405NH Volgren CR221L 32
This Volgren CR221L bodied Mercedes O405NH, 32 (3214AO), was only fifteen months old when seen in August 2002. The bus has since been withdrawn. It was around this time that Franks Phillips, owner of Phillips Bus Service for almost fifty years, passed away and the company was acquired by the Pulitano Group, who also own what is Bus Queensland, but at the time comprised Westside of Ipswich and Park Ridge Transit.

Phillips Mercedes OH1318 Ansair 15
This short line up was seen at the Cranbourne depot on the same day. Nearing the end of its days back then was Ansair bodied Mercedes OH1318 15 (3215AO) of 1986 alongside two more Mercedes. In common with all the fleet at the time, the buses were devoid of fleetnames.

Phillips Volvo B10M Volgren 21
Popular before the Mercedes O405NH was the Volvo B10M with similar Volgren bodies. This one, 21 (3221AO), was eleven years old in 2002 and was later disposed of to the associated Mansfield Mt Buller Bus Lines, though has long since given up the ghost there too.
