Forest Volvo B12BLEA Custom CB60 Evo II 9456
To cope with commuter peak loads and assist on busy school runs Forest built up a fleet of articulated buses, until the doubledeckers appeared on the scene. The majority of the artic fleet comprises sixteen Custom CB60 Evo II bodied Volvo B12BLEA buses built between 2006 and 2010 like 9456 (MO9456), the second delivered, seen in December 2007 rolling off the Harbour Bridge into the city.

Sister vehicle 9453 (MO9453) was the first delivered in 2006 and is seen about an hour earlier than 9456 passing Wynyard Station on York Street.

Forest Mercedes O305G PMC 9018
At the same location and still on peak hour duties in December 2008 was 9018 (MO9018) new back in 1984 to Sydney Buses as 2572 (MO2572). The PMC bodied Mercedes O305G was acquired nearly three years earlier but was sold on to Nowra Coaches as 5159MO in July the following year when new B12BLEA buses arrived. Nowra withdrew it for parts after three years and the remains went to enthusiasts for similar use in 2018.
