 Knoxfield's Solo SR 1408 (BS05FI) is seen looking the worse for wear in Dandenong depot in February 2024. Unlike the Rosebud trio the Knoxfield buses are shorter 23 seaters: Rosebud's seat 28.

 An alternative supplier of small buses was Hino with their little Poncho. The first, 1381 (BS04KH), was acqquired i 2016 for the coach fleet, followed by two more in 2018. Another ten followed in PTV in 2021 (6) and 2022 (4). The first and last went to Knoxfield (1546) and Rosebud (1555), respectively. The rest went to Lilyfield for new "FlexiRide" on demand services centred on Chirnside Park and replacing Teleride services. Seen approaching Lilydale Station in March 2024 is 1549 (BS06XS).
