 A visit to the Hervey Bay area in August 2009 found the diverse fleet of Wide Bay Transit at work. This included modern vehicles like this ex Bathurst Buslines Bustech bodied Volvo B7RLE of 2002, 59 (690HTS). |
 Tucked in the Hervey Bay depot was a Custom 550 bodied Scania L113CRL, 53 (751ETE), new in 1998. |
 Heading for Urangan from Harvey Bay Bus Station is this Custom CB60 bodied Scania L94UB, 70 (775IMD), still in the colours of Bay Bus & Coach whose operations had been acquired two years earlier in 2007. The bus had seen previous service in Tasmania with Tassielink having been new as a demonstrator. |
 New to Wide Bay that year was 93 (958LPI), one of several Denning buses in the fleet. This one had the NCBC Downtown City Bus bodywork, whereas others have Denning's own Silver Phoenix bus bodies. |
