Gloucester Green is a good spot for Coachlinks, being the terminus of the successful Cambridge via Milton Keynes service as well as that to Northampton. The standard Plaxton bodied Volvo of the 1990s makes a nice comparison with the ECW bodied MWs of the sixties.

United Counties 626, an early Stagecoach standard - an Alexander bodied high capacity lowheight Olympian - reverses off its bay in Luton Bus Station on route to Bedford.

An interesting contrast with the preceeding Alexander bodied Olympians is 677 (L677HNV) with Northern Counties bodywork. It is seen in Northampton.
